How can your business help?

Ride & Shop™

Every time an older person stops driving, a business runs the risk of losing a customer. The Ride & Shop program brings paying customers right to the door, then helps them with their packages as they leave.

Ride & Shop program participants pay a portion of the cost of each ride taken by any ITN member to their location. The contribution is divided between subsidizing the riding member’s fare and supporting the ITN.

It is simple for a business to join the Ride & Shop program, and ITN takes care of all the administrative cost and paperwork. Contact your local affiliate for more information.

Businesses can also help by donating small gifts for volunteers, office supplies, certificates for car washes, oil changes, gas, etc.

By acting as social entrepreneurs and following proven business practices, ITN doesn’t have to rely on taxpayer support for operating expenses. In fact, ITN actually helps drive the local economy and build community. The impact to the local business community of one mature ITN affiliate is between $300,000 and $500,000 per year.

How can healthcare providers help?

HealthyMiles™

Just when a person most needs healthcare, they may be least able to drive, and adult children may be unable to leave work to help. That’s where the Healthy Miles program comes in, and ITN does the driving. Among other benefits, Healthy Miles helps patients arrive on time and cancel fewer appointments.
